The GITL studio organizes a special Weekend Painting Marathon taking place over three sessions in early December. This immersive experience will focus on a single continuous pose throughout the event, offering artists the opportunity to develop deeper observation, refinement, and cohesion in their work. The model will hold a “Seated Nymph” semi-nude pose, inspired by classical tradition, emphasizing elegance, form, and sculptural grace. This format encourages sustained study and a unified series of drawings or paintings across multiple sessions. Our model for the 3-day pose will be Carlie.
Drawing Marathon Schedule
Friday, December 5 – 6:00 – 9:00 PM
Saturday, December 6 – 6:00 – 9:00 PM
Sunday, December 7 – 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
The registration deadline is Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025.
You may join individual sessions or participate in the full marathon.
